Batur Natural Hot Spring

Toya Bungkah is the name of the Kintamani hot spring and is also known as Batur Natural Hot Spring Kintamani. The meaning of the name Toya Bungkah comes from two syllables, Toya means water and Bungkah means a rock. Because the hot spring comes from an aquifer at a depth of 635 meters from the ground surface which has a water temperature of around 50 degrees Celsius.

The water temperature of 50° Celsius is the temperature of the water in the hot springs. But when hot water is flowed into the bathing pool, there will be a drop in water temperature and it becomes around 37° – 40° Celsius. The temperature drop of the hot water from the source is very high, approximately 10° Celsius. Because the bathing area is in a mountainous area with cool temperatures.

Hot water that comes from the mountains directly from hot springs without any treatment, so it's very natural. Hot water also contains minerals which are very good for the health of the body. Such as accelerating the loss of bruises, recovery of rheumatism, for relaxation and skin rejuvenation.

In the Batur Natural Hot Spring Kintamani bathing area, there are 4 types of pools:
1. Hot water pool for children.
2. Pool Natural Therapy Hot Spring Water, for hot water therapy. In this pool there is a hot shower with a water temperature of around 38° – 40° Celsius and you can position yourself against the fall of the hot shower on your body. I personally love dropping showers on the back of the neck, how about you?
3. Sunburn Floating Pool. For those of you who like to soak while basking in the sun, then the Floating Sunburn pool is for you. For those who idolize white skin, you should choose another pool.
4. Pool For Swimming.

Besides being able to enjoy swimming in natural hot springs, the uniqueness of Batur Natural Hot Spring Kintamani is because of its location on the edge of Lake Batur. So every visitor who visits Batur Natural Hot Spring Kintamani can swim and soak while enjoying the view of Lake Batur Kintamani.
