The Habitat Penang Hill is a B Corp Certified, award winning rainforest discovery park, set atop the storied Penang Hill, the gateway to the UNESCO Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve.

Apart from the myriad of flora and fauna that are discoverable along our 1.6km trail, visitors will enjoy breathtaking views atop Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, the highest accessible viewing platform on Penang Island as well as traverse the longest bridge of its kind in the world, the Langur Way Canopy Walk.

NOTICE:Please be informed that The Penang Hill funicular train service will be undergoing the bi-annual schedule train maintenance from 16-22 June 2025 The Penang Hill will be closed during this period. our park will be reopen on 23 June 2025.Important information:

The Habitat Penang Hill will now be open from 9am to 9pm (Last Entry 5.30PM)Visitors entering after 5.30pm will be required to purchase an Evening Walk add-on ticket at RM18 per pax.Non-Evening Walk (Standard Entrance Ticket) visitors must exit the park by 7.00pm.Evening Walk visitors may exit at any time via the main entrance (front gate). The park officially closes at 9.00pmVisitors can immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of our 130-million-year-old rainforest after sunset. They will witness stunning light installations along the Langur Way Canopy Walk and Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk. In addition, visitors can now embark along our trail after dark and spot nocturnal animals that call this rainforest home. Our new night-time experiences promise to offer a magical, memorable adventure.Highlights: Light installations, nocturnal wildlife and educational night walks led by our Guest Experience Rangers.Train's operating hours can range from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the crowd (peak or non-peak hour).It is a self-guided walk (Free Easy).Applicable every day (1-day cutoff).Penang Hill Funicular tram ticket is excluded. Tram tickets can be purchased Penang Hill Funicular Train Ticketing counter located at Lower Station.

Opening Hours: Open daily from 9am to 7pm. Last entry to the park is at 5:30PM
Location: We are located atop Penang Hill and guests can take the funicular train, the jeep service from Penang Botanical Garden or hike to the top!

Dressing: It is advisable to dress in attire suitable for outdoor activities
Weather: In adverse weather conditions, where safety is compromised, we reserve the right to close the park without notice

BYOB: We have water stations across our park so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle!
